Omaha police officer hit by car near College World Series

An Omaha police officer is expected to be okay after being hit by a car at 13th and Cass Streets Monday night.Lieutenant Chuck Casey said a car rear ended the officer as she was on a bike near the College World Series and took off. Police say the female officer went to Nebraska Medicine.Another officer on a bike next to her was not injured.Police found the driver a block away at 13th and Mike Fahey Streets. Officers took the driver of the car into custody.
