Holyoke St. Patrick’s Parade Committee host celebrity bartending event

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – Friday night, local bartenders helped raise funds to support the Holyoke St. Patrick’s Parade.

The Holyoke St. Patrick’s Parade Committee hosted a celebrity bartending event at the Knights of Columbus.

Bartenders from six local bars competed to see who could collect the most tips, with the winner to host a second bartending event. All money raised will benefit the St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee.

“I am already so happy with the turnout,” said Devin Sheehan, Holyoke St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee president. “We have a lot of people here. We have Irish music playing in the other room. We have corned beef sandwiches. We’re all ready for St. Patrick’s Day on March 17.”

The 68th St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be held on Sunday, March 17.

You can watch the parade on the CW Springfield or on wwlp.com at noon.
