...HEAVY SNOW WITH SOME TRAVEL IMPACTS TODAY...

.AS OF 1 PM, 2 TO 4 INCHES OF SNOW WAS REPORTED ACROSS PORTIONS
OF SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA AND NORTHEAST IOWA. SOME ROADS WERE ALSO
SLUSH OR SNOW COVERED. THROUGH 3 PM, SNOW HEAVY AT TIMES, WILL
CONTINUE SOUTH OF I-90. 1 INCH PER HOUR SNOWFALL RATES ARE
POSSIBLE ACROSS NORTHEAST IOWA AND SOUTHWEST WISCONSIN THROUGH
MID-AFTERNOON. HIGHEST SNOWFALL TOTALS OF 4 OF 8 INCHES ARE
EXPECTED SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 90.

THE BULK OF THE ACCUMULATIONS WILL OCCUR ON GRASSY AND ELEVATED
SURFACES. HOWEVER, HEAVIER BURSTS OF SNOW WILL ACCUMULATE ON
ROADWAYS WITH IMPACTS TO TRAVEL.

IN ADDITION, WIND GUSTS TO 35 MPH COMBINED WITH THE WET SNOW MAY
CAUSE SOME TREE DAMAGE AND PERHAPS ISOLATED POWER OUTAGES.

CLOSELY.
