Rumor Roundup: Taker, Rollins injury, Brock, Fastlane card, AEW deals


Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Undertaker isn’t currently planning on working WWE’s next Saudi Arabia show in May, says Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
  • Dave Meltzer of The Observer reports Seth Rollins has been pulled from advertising for all shows on the current road trip, including Monday’s Raw in Grand Rapids, due to his back injury.
  • Rollins’ planned WrestleMania opponent, Universal champ Brock Lesnar, isn’t expected to wrestle at Elimination Chamber or Fastlane.
  • Advertised locally for Fastlane are Daniel Bryan vs. AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe in a WWE title Triple Threat, Finn Balor challenging for Bobby Lashley’s Intercontinental title, and Charlotte Flair & Becky Lynch.
  • PW Insider says that while NWA says they’re open to working with AEW, they aren’t aware of any talks between the two companies.
