WWE Elimination Chamber 2019 match card, rumors

The next pay-per-view (PPV) on the WWE schedule is the Elimination Chamber event set to take place on Sun., Feb. 17, 2019, at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. With dual PPV’s back, this has returned to being the annual post-Royal Rumble, pre-WrestleMania showcase.

We’re just two weeks away from showtime, and the card looks like this:

  • Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton vs. Jeff Hardy vs. AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe vs. Mustafa Ali (WWE championship)

Bryan will put his brand spankin’ new hemp championship title on the line for the first time in an Elimination Chamber match that came together because, well, they just decided it after everyone showed up demanding a shot at it.

  • Nia Jax & Tamina vs. The Riott Squad vs. Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville vs. The IIconics vs. TBA vs. TBA (Women’s tag team championship)

This will be an Elimination Chamber match for the new WWE women’s tag team titles, featuring three teams from Raw and three from SmackDown. Sasha Banks & Bayley vs. Alicia Fox & Nikki Cross is set for Monday Night Raw this week to determine the final Raw team.

  • The Miz & Shane McMahon vs. The Usos (SmackDown tag team championship)

McMiz won the titles from The Bar at Royal Rumble and because automatic rematches are a thing of the past, they booked a Fatal 4-Way to find the next top contenders. The Usos won that 4-Way.

That’s all that is scheduled at the moment, though Bobby Lashley is now feuding with Finn Balor, R-Truth has a U.S. championship to defend, and the Raw tag team titles need some play.

You liking it so far?
